October 24, 1945 marks the declaration of friendship and partnership of nations united with a mission to preserve peace and advance justice in the world – the founding of the United Nations. Celebrated across the globe, countries commemorate the special day in their own creative ways. Here in the Philippines, United Nations’ Day is celebrated through a showcase of colourful flags, nationalistic costumes and synergy of cultures. Let us remember the day of peace and celebrate oneness on U.N. Day happening this October 24, 2013 only at SM Supermalls.
